COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. -- Ursinus College scored four times during the first half and added two more goals during the final 45 minutes, defeating Penn State Brandywine 6-0 in non-conference women's soccer action on Saturday night.
Mackenzie Groff and Skylar Knapp both scored a pair of goals for the Bears, who improved to 2-1-1.
Brandywine goalkeeper Emily Bush (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) made six saves for Brandywine, while Bears net minders Sabrina Doherty and Sarah Embley combined for the shutout.
Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) recorded the lone shot on goal for Brandywine. Ursinus tallied 23 shots with 13 on target.
Brandywine (0-2) continues its six-game road trip next Saturday at Cabrini (12:00 pm).
