Fayette Volleyball struggles on the road

Greensburg,PA- Fayette Volleyball struggles on the road against Pitt Greensburg.

Penn State Fayette Volleyball struggled on the road tonight against Pitt Greensburg. Fayette is still down their regular lineup with middle blocker/ rightside hitter, Abby Bickerton sitting out for an injury. Fayette had a tough first set. but rallied hard in the second and third set but fell short, losing the match 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-18).

Head Coach Anna Tale commented on the hard fought final set, "We had a slow start during the first [set], if the ladies would've played like they did in the third set there would've been a different outcome. We now know what to improve on and will work on it before our conference match against Greater Allegheny."

Fayette will have a tough home opener against Penn State Greater Allegheny this upcoming Saturday. Fayette has gone 0-6 against Greater Allegheny since their National Championship accomplishment in 2019. Despite Greater Allegheny's strong finish last season, the roster has changed greatly for the 2023 season. The game for Saturday will have a start time of 12:00 P.M. and will be live streamed on the F.A.N.
