Men's Soccer Loses to Clarks Summit, 4-1

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's Soccer fell to NCAA Division III opponent Clarks Summit University on Monday.

Both teams battled back and forth for most of the opening period. Clarks Summit broke the ice with their first goal at 34:17, but Schuylkill quickly responded, leveling the score at 1-1 just before the end of the period with a goal from Jesus Meza (Shenandoah, PA / Shenandoah Valley).

The second period saw Clarks Summit regaining the lead, scoring their second goal five minutes in, making it 2-1. Despite Schuylkill's persistent efforts and the creation of scoring opportunities, the game remained intensely competitive. Clarks Summit sealed their victory with two late goals in the final five minutes of the contest.

Schuylkill (2-6 overall) will host Lackawanna College this Friday, October 13th at 4:00 p.m
