TAKOMA PARK, Maryland – Washington Adventist scored all three of its goals during the final five minutes and dealt the Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team a 3-0 defeat on Wednesday night.
Ryan Senior netted all three scores for WAU, which improved to 2-0. Brandywine dropped to 0-2 and will aim for its first victory of the season Sunday at home versus West Virginia Tech (2:00 pm).
The Lions' top scoring opportunity came during the 12th minute when junior Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) rang a shot off the post.
Walleekendeh and senior Manny Amine (Detroit, Mich./Wyoming Park (Pa.)) registered the only two shots on goal for Brandywine, while Washington Adventist collected nine attempts on net.
Goalkeeper Pat O'Neill (Morton, Pa./Ridley) played all 90 minutes in goal and stopped five shots.
