MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 setback at Dickinson College on Wednesday afternoon.
The loss put an end to Brandywine's 29-match (26-0-3) regular-season unbeaten streak that dated back to Sept, 25, 2021.
Dickinson scored twice during the first half, while adding three goals during the final 45 minutes, and produced 29 shots overall. Zack Bardwell (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester), Mikey Dunham (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and Kyle Reuter (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) all collected one shot for Brandywine.
Brandywine goalkeeper Elijah DeBooth (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) made four saves, while playing all 90 minutes in net.
Brandywine (1-1) will look to bounce back when it opens the home portion of its schedule with a tournament game against Central Penn at noon. SUNY ESF and Bucks County will play Saturday's second tournament match beginning at 2:00 PM.
