Women's Volleyball Loses Road Matchup to Rutgers-Camden

CAMDEN, Nj. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Volleyball fell to NCAA Division III opponent Rutgers-Camden in their final regular season contest.

Following a 3-1 start for Schuylkill, Rutgers-Camden took control of the set going on a 13-1 run. A kill by Sydney Morton (Norfolk, VA / Gateway Christian Academy) started a 4-0 stretch for Schuylkill bringing their deficit to 14-9. Rutgers-Camden would respond, going on another run and winning the first set 25-10.

Rutgers-Camden carried their momentum into the second set, going on a 6-1 run to start. A kill for Maddy Robinson (Auburn, PA / Blue Mountain) would kick start a 3-0 Schuylkill run that brought the score to 6-4. Another run for Rutgers-Camden extended their lead to as many as 12 during the set. A kill and two aces by Sierra Wishnefsky (Lavelle, PA / North Schuylkill) brought Schuylkill within 9. However, Rutgers-Camden was able to close out the set. Rutgers-Camden remained hot during the third set, starting off 18-4 before claiming the set.
