New Kensington Shuts Out Shenango

Shenango, PA - New Kensington traveled to Shenango for a Monday night showdown. 

New Kensington started off strong, winning the first set in a back and forth battle (25-22). The Lions fought hard and came out victorious in the second set (25-19). New Ken finished the job in the third set, to win the match (25-22). 

The Lion's Emily Lewandowski (New Kensington, PA) led the team with 10 kills, Gabby Wolfkill (Mifflin, PA) also helped out with 6 kills of her own.  Kayla Carnahan (Sarver, PA) was all over the court, as she tallied 43 total digs and 2 kills for the match.
