Hazleton, PA - New Kensington traveled across the state to Penn State Hazleton in a Sunday afternoon showdown. 

New Kensington started off fast with a goal three minutes into the game by Ethan Hutcherson (Fairfax, VA) and assisted by Devin Murray (Russellton, PA). The Lions did not stop there, scoring six more in the first half. Michael Chaloupka (Lubbock, TX) scored, assisted by Murray, then Chaloupka and Wineberg assisted Murray on the third goal of the game. Jeremy Mack (Boswell, PA) scored the fourth goal assisted by Trisoline. The fifth goal was scored by Murray assisted by Bethurum and Chaloupka. Mack scored the sixth goal assisted by Chaloupka. Marcus Edwards (Greensburg, PA) scored the last goal of the first half with less than two minutes left in the half. 

The Lions started the second half with two goals in the first ten minutes of the half. Finn Bethurum (Oceanside, CA) scored first, assisted by Chaloupka. Ethan Wineberg (Dubois, PA) scored the second goal of the half, assisted by Hutcherson. Seth Trisoline (Burrell, PA) scored the final goal of the game.

The win puts New Ken 1-0 in the conference and 4-3 overall.
