WBB suffers hard loss to PSU Shenango

Lemont Furnace, PA- WBB has a hard loss against PSU Shenango on senior night.

Fayette women's basketball played a tough game last night, but unfortunately fell short to third ranked PSU Shenango. In the third quarter Fayette was only out scored by one, but unfortunately leading point scorer Taylor McCormick hit her 4th foul and had no choice but to sit out to be later utilized for the fourth quarter. The final score resulted with a hard loss of 65-59.

Senior Taylor McCormick spoke about her senior night, "Senior Night for me lived up to my expectations. Even though we didn't win, I still had so much fun playing on the Fayette court for the last time. It is really my home and I am so sad to go. I thank everyone in the Fayette Athletics family for everything they have done for me!"

Fayette will see PSU Shenango against next Tuesday at Shenango's home court for both of their final season game. However, not before playing PSU Beaver away on Saturday at 1 P.M.
