PSUAC Announces Fall All-Conference Teams
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The PSUAC has announced its 2021 All-Conference teams for men's and women's soccer and volleyball. The awards, nominated by each campus and voted on by coaches and athletic administrators, recognize outstanding achievement on the field or court of play during the regular season. In addition, the PSUAC awards the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award to one student-athlete from each PSUAC team.
Players of the Year came from all over the state, as five different campuses had a player take home the honor. In men's soccer, Penn State Brandywine's Alex Sydor and Penn State Scranton's Mike Foder shared the award as co-Players of the Year. On the women's side of the pitch, Penn State Schuylkill's Ariana Trautz took home the hardware. On the court, Penn State York's Jessica Dunbar was the East Volleyball Player of the Year while Penn State Fayette's Kristina Aeschbacher earned the West's highest award.
Schuylkill's Jon Hummel was named the women's soccer Coach of the Year, while Penn State Mont Alto's Tim Carey is the men's recipient. Keith Hartman of Penn State York received the honor for volleyball after leading his team to the East Division title.
