Haley Grossi reached base safely in all five USCAA World Series games, leading Brandywine to a fourth-place finish last week. She collected seven hits, batting .500 overall, with three RBI and five runs scored. Even more impressive than Grossi's bat, was her stellar defensive effort from her spot at second base. The USCAA World Series All-Tournament Team selection turned three double plays and did not commit an error in 22 chances in the field.
