Toner Corl was named the USCAA Small College World Series MVP following a tremendous performance in the National Championship game, setting a USCAA tournament record with seven RBIs to propel DuBois to their second consecutive USCAA title. Corl finished the week 7-for-14 at the plate with a home run and eight RBIs. Corl also pitched a complete-game shutout on day two of the tournament, helping DuBois advance through the winner's bracket, giving up only three hits while striking out six.
