Brian Abel smashed his own school 8K record by 28 seconds on Saturday at Salisbury University's Don Cathcart Invitational. He ran the race in 27:34, finishing 27th in the field of 129 NCAA Division III runners. He now owns three of the top five 8K times in school history through four races.
