Gesso led the Penn State Fayette golf team in their opening round of the year, shooting an 81 at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational. Gesso finished the tournament tied for 27th while helping the team finish 12th. The tournament was held at The Pennhills Club in Bradford, Pa.
