Angel Buwawa, a freshman outside and middle hitter, opened up her college career with a solid weekend at the USCAA Tipoff Tournament held at Penn State Beaver. Angel finished with a total of 15 service aces, good for a 1.5 average per set, and added 24 kills as Fayette finished 2-1. Her breakout performance came against host Penn State Beaver when she tallied 16 kills with only 2 errors, ending the match with a .538 hitting percentage.
