Players of the Postseason Led by Brandywine, Fayette

The fall conference season has ended with championshis this past week. With USCAA National Championship tournaments still to come, we are proud to announce our Players of the PSUAC Postseason! Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Fayette dominated the week, as Brandywine captured both the men's and women's soccer titles, as well as the PSUAC Cross Country Invitational's individual women's crown. Meanwhile, Fayette took home the men's individual title at cross country and the volleyball championship.

Nyoah Marteny, Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Marteny won the 2019 PSUAC Men's Cross Country Invitatiaonal's individual title by a mere six seconds, but crossed the finish line in 25:49 to take home the win at Penn State Mont Alto's home 8k course in Norlo Park.

Catharine Mooney, Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Mooney crossed the finish line at the PSUAC Cross Country Invitational in 24:59, 40 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor to take home the individual crown on the 6k course at Norlo Park in Fayetteville, Pa.

Alex Lopez, Men's Soccer Player of the Postseason

In a tie game, Lopez netted a pass from teammate Joey Cairy to give Penn State Brandywine a 3-2 lead over Penn State Beaver in the PSUAC Men's Soccer Championship game. That lead would hold up as Brandywine captured their fourth-straight PSUAC title.

Brianna Banks, Women's Soccer Player of the Postseason

Banks continued her dominance in the PSUAC, recording two hat tricks during the PSUAC Women's Soccer playoffs as she led Brandywine to their fourth-straight title. Banks scored three times in a semifinal win over Penn State Scranton before tallying three more in the championship game against Penn State Hazleton, including the game-winner just 90 seconds into overtime.

Machaela Hall, Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Hall impressed this week during the PSUAC Volleyball Championship, recording 30 digs in two matches at Rec Hall as Fayette grabbed their second straight PSUAC title. Hall also chipped in 20 digs during Fayette's quarterfinal win over Penn State Mont Alto as the top seed in the West dominated their competition with clean sweeps during the week.

Siteri Tale, Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Tale led Fayette to their second straight PSUAC Volleyball Championship, tallying 31 kills combined in the semifinals and finals while hitting .316 during that stretch. Tale's week also included a nine kill effort in the quarterfinals as Fayette cruised to three-set victories in each match.
