Morris, Sanders Recognized as Players of the Week

We're two weeks into basketball season, and conference play will heat up this coming week! But not before we announce this week's Players of the Week!

All individual award winner's announcement can also be found on their respective sport pages and in Player of the Week archives.

Cole Morris, Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Penn State DuBois went 2-0 on the week with Morris leading the way. Against Westmoreland County Community College, he had 25 points on 6-of-13 shooting and 11-for-13 from the free throw line while adding eight rebounds and three assists. In the second win of the week at Butler County Community College, Morris scored 11 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out eight assists.

Ebony Sanders, Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Sanders started both games for Lehigh Valley this week, averaging a double-double of 19 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. Her dominance on the glass was most seen in a 96-91 overtime victory over NCAA Division III opponent Geneva College as she pulled down 24 boards while chipping in 25 points.
